Week 3: More visitors!

We had another short week this week with Rob taking off Friday for this week's visitors, but that doesn't mean we didn't keep busy! Monday was Max's 2 week appointment and he was up to 8 lb. 3 oz! Woo hoo for being over his birth weight!! Such a huge relief after making the tough decision to give up on breast feeding and start formula feeding. Everything else got a clean bill of health and we have another check up in two more weeks. Max and mom also went to the mommy group again on Tuesday. Such a great way to get out of the house and learn so much about this whole "caring for a newborn" thing ;).

On Thursday Max got to meet his Grandma and Grandpa Dabb who made the drive from Michigan! We're so thankful to have them come visit. We all had a lot of fun. They taught us a new card game and Max took his first car trip into Manhattan! We had to make a quick stop by the peds office for a bad case of diaper rash, but we learned that Max is now up to 8lb. 10oz! He's going to be a tall guy just like his dad and grandpa. Thanks again for coming to visit Bill & Lana!

And we ended the week with a much needed relaxing Saturday. Well, other than the two mile walk Max and mom took around the Norwalk High School track. The weather finally cooled down enough to take him outside!

July 7...Max is 2 weeks and 1 day old on my due date! I still can't believe he fit in there at one point.

The beginning of a great friendship.

Max spends a lot of his time sleeping in the Moby Wrap during the week.

Modeling the hat his Aunt Di made.

Max with his daddy and Grandpa Dabb.

Max takes New York City!

This week's visitors!

We had a makeshift birthday celebration for Bill with a cherry pie and a tealight candle.

Sleeping through mom and dad's HGTV marathon.

2 miles around the track and many more to come.
